Mystical Nature

Last week, I had to take a short trip to a nearby village. Fog is not so common here where I live, so when I was up on the mountain and saw this bewildering image in front of me, I was stunned.

I couldn't help but stop the car and take a couple of photos. It felt like space and time collapsed and there was just me, Earth and the powerful presence of Nature.

In moments like this, everything appears solid, real and alive and at the same time on the verge of dissolution. It's out in the nature that the mind becomes still, like it was supposed to be.

How far have we gone?

And the cars
Lost in the drift
Are there
And the people that drive
Lost in the drift
Are there
And the cares i've
Lost in the drift
Are there
Theirs, ours,
Lost in the drift
Are..
Driven together
And driven
Apart

Gothic Fashion - No more Vinyl Please

Having experienced the "gothic" scene and fashion from its early stages, at times I'm sick of its cliches. Vinyls, spikes, black color, lace, skulls, red lips - black eyes, crosses, black hair and so much more that appears  over and over again, often in excess. After all these years, I now prefer simpler and more elegant versions of gothic culture's elements or items that breath a new life into traditional "dark" accessories. Here is a collection of personal preferences that I found on etsy:

Dolls

Dolls are not only one of the most ancient toys, they have also been used for other purposes as well. Decorative dolls are very common  and we found them in a variety of forms, from cute and whimsical to spooky and sinister. Ritualistic use of dolls has also been frequent in various spiritual practices, like the well - known voodoo dolls.
There are numerous talented artists on etsy, who create dolls and I'd like to share some with you in this post.
